Trim Molding becoming effective method of protecting cars

Everyone is excited for their new cars or trucks. But keeping that new car as new is not an easy task. It is likely to get a dent maybe on the street or in the parking lot. So the question arises here is that how can we protect our new cars and defend them against unforeseen circumstances. Well the answer to the question is trim molding. Trim molding is becoming a trend with people these days to protect their automobiles against dents, paint chips, door dings, etc.

It can comprise of various measures like Auto trim molding, Body side Molding, Door edge guard, Fender Trim Molding and Paint Protection films. Now the question here is what these and which one are is the right choice for me? Well I will try to explain some of them here.

Side Trim Molds are usually stripped of vinyl or rubber that is attached horizontally to the side of the vehicle which protects it from another door hitting it. These strips trim the area of the door and casually dents are avoided.

Auto Trim Molding attaches in the same way as side trim mold and protect the area near the wheel. The rubber beads protect the exposed area of the wheel. This technique can also be used to cover up dents that are already there.

Door edge guards as the name suggest protects the edge of the door. It works as a shock absorber and prevents from any other door that might hit your car.

All these trims molds come in different designs and colors that suit the styling of the vehicle. For most of us buying a new car or truck is the largest investments we make in our lives. As all of us wants to drive a neat and clean car so trim molding is providing us with an efficient method for defending our car.
